Ruger No. 1 trigger screws
I have owned my .243 red pad TS for years. I was cleaning it and notice two tiny little screws in the trigger.
It is still set the way factory had it. What does the front screw do?
Thanks
There were 2 and 3 screw triggers. I have in my notes that the 2 screw started in 1980 some time after 132-01360. Red pads were made until 1992.
The aftermarket Jard trigger diagram shows them the best. The sear screw is eliminated on the 2 screw trigger. If yours is a 3 screw you need to take the buttstock off the get to the sear screw.
