Here's a nice semi-custom Ruger No 1 in .223. Barrel is a 1-9 twist, 25" heavy stainless that's been blackened. Canjar single-set trigger. Unset breaks at 3 lbs; set is around 1 lb. Forend has been bedded with slight tension, which can be adjusted. Stock is a stunning piece of American walnut. Both sides equally figured. I've had less than 300 rounds of factory through this since I got it. It shoots everything from 42 grain (HS Calhoon) to 69 grain (Sierra BTHP match) superbly. Comes with Millet adjustable rings (scope not included). Rifle is mint. Selling off some guns I don't use to pay for a couple of hunting trips, including an African hunt. This one has been featured in here a few times. PM me for e-mail and more photos. Reduced to $900.00 shipped. SPF

What was this originally?

1V, 1B?

It was a 1V in .223 that shot 2-3" groups. It also had a great factory trigger of 5+ pounds. I had it rebarreled with the same diameter with a 1-9 twist and bedded.
