Ruger model 96/44 lever on 96/22 ?

Does anyone know if the lever from a 96/44 will work on the 96/22 or 96/17? I would like to have the case colored one on my 96/22 and have the option to buy one I just don't know if it has the same link or will work at all. Thanks

The bolts are so completely different, I would have doubted they could use the same lever.

Ultimately, I do not know the differences in the levers, but their parts manual show different part numbers for the center fire and rimfire models.

Thanks. I knew the part number were different but I thought that might just contribute to one be anodized or painted black and the other being case color hardened. I will try and look into to it a little more. Thanks again
