Guys,
I need to replace the rear micro-adjustable sight on my MKIII515. I dropped it yesterday (while in the padded case) and it must have landed on the rear sight.
Not a mark on the pistol otherwise, but the thin blade within the sight was split in half. Can just the blade be replaced or will the entire rear sight have to be replaced?
I haven't called Ruger service yet...thought I'd start here for suggestions.

You just found the weak spot in the Ruger rear sight. That happened to me 30 years ago, and I bought 2 extra blades. They're $2 or $3 each.

Problem solved!!!...thanks to Ruger customer service. I sent them the serial number and they are sending the blade.
Oh yea...no charge Thanks Ruger!! :D

Here's a link on how to replace that blade. http://www.guntalk-online.com/2245detailstripping.htm#sightblade

Thanks for the link Bullseye!... Ruger service said they would include instructions with the blade but this will really help.

Thanks again

Ruger service is great, I just got my no1 back, they replaced the forearm at no cost to me and it was not their fault it was mine, I bought a HICKS ACCU. and had to remove some of the wood in the forearm BIG MISTAKE no more HICKS THING for me.

Got the replacement from Ruger parts department today. They were great to deal with!
It was pretty easy and took about 10 minutes to replace.

Thanks everyone! (especially Ruger)
