Ruger MKii and 10/22 Scope Mount Compatability

Does anyone know if you can use a 10/22 weaver style scope mount on a MKii with factory holes?

Specifically, do you guys think this one http://primaryarms.com/product.sc?productId=275&categoryId=89 will work on a mkii with a 5.5" stainless bull barrel that's tapped from the factory?

No, the mounts are totally different. Here's a link for a MK I, II, III pistol mount @ shopruger.com.

The one from Ruger is an excellent choice. The mount from primaryarms has a lot of extra holes. It makes me wonder if the mount was made for 10/22 and mark pistols, but it would be impossible to tell without actually getting your hands on one and checking for alignment. You could also contact primaryarms and ask if it would work.

Moral of the story is that you can't go wrong with the mount that ranger1 posted. It will take a little leg work to find out if the other mount is designed for both.
