Ruger mini revolvers?

You mean like the LCR in 22LR or 22Mag?

Seems that rumor died when they rolled out the "new" 22LR SP101.

A 3" barrel stainless DA 22mag around bearcat size would be a force to be reckoned with. I read something about future plans from a gun rag when they were writing about the "self defense" 22mag ammo out recently.

Surely, Ruger can make something better than the NAA

Ruger doesn't do "mini". Every handgun they make seems to employ more metal than anyone else in the industry. I suppose there is always room for a first as we do see more new stuff coming form Ruger all the time but it would be a significant departure from their philosophy.

You must have forgotten the LCR when you typed your reply. Ruger shaved the LCR cylinder down quite a bit.

The SR9 is certainly not as chunky as the old P series, either.

The new Ruger management has pretty much abandoned the "old" Ruger way of doing things.

A revised Bearcat with convertible cylinders, adjustable sights would get attention.

how about a break open (conv. Cyl.) ultra compact revolver?

I have one of those but they're single action, not double. :?

I kick myself almost everyday for not picking one of those when I had the chance

If you want one, I've still got 10 or 11 left from a collection I've been selling for a local person. I think I'm out of buckle versions though. Have 1-3/4" and 3" .22 LR models and three cap and ball. Might be a .22 Mag. or two in there yet as well. Just send me a PM.

I would prefer fixed sights myself but everything else you said sounds great.
