Ruger Mini 14

My brother in law has a Ruger Mini 14 that he wants to sell me. He says it is a rare model for a mini 14.

I need some education on the mini 14 so if you don't mind please educate me

If it's the only one he owns then I guess it is rare to him...

I suspect 'rare' on a mini 14 really depends on the owner, but there are a whole lot of 'rare' minis out there.

If it says 'AC556' on the rear of the receiver its pretty rare!
