Does anyone know what the outside muzzle diameter is on a heavy barrel M77? I've got a friend who wants to rebore from .284" (280 Rem) to .366" (9.3x62). Curious how much barrel wall would remain.
Is your buddy still looking to rebore?? I'll trade you a heavy 6mm Rem barrel for the heavy 280 barrel (as long as your throat/bore is good). JES can rebore a 6mm just as easy as a 7mm.
