Purchased a Frontier in 7mm08 online and after getting home and inspecting it closer I realized bubba had struck and did his work on this one. The Vortex scout scope that is mounted on it nearly rubs the barrel, so it appears that the front rib has an area where it was clearanced out to be able to utilize the magnification dial.
Are these ribs available for purchase anywhere? It appears removable by just the 4 screws. Is it the same piece as seen on Ruger No1 rifles?
