Ruger LC Carbine 5.7 optics options

Has anyone put an optic on their 5.7 carbine yet? Just curious to see what others are using. I have a few red dots, but I want something with a little magnification this time around.

I'm thinking a 2x or 3x prism scope, but not sure about the eye relief.

My other choice would be to mount a scout scope further forward on the rail. Burris has a 2.75 fixed power scout scope with about 9" of eye relief.

I put a red dot on my wife's. I have a 1-6 red dot on my AR556=it's a Tru-Glo, I think.

I just ordered an LC Carbine for myself, and I'm leaning towards a low-power variable scope for mine.

I have a Leupold VX-Hog 1x-4x 21mm languishing in the spares tub that may be a perfect mate.

I dislike 'prism scopes' due to the usually short eye relief. If I can tolerate a 3" eye relief, I'll use a small LPVO. The downside of that is the weight that many of those scopes mandate. I've found a brand that, while it isn't light, it is light(ER) than the ones with illuminate reticles and bullet proof tubes.
Lightest, best alternative is Bushnell 1-4x or 1.5-5x variables.
I just can't force myself to like the 'scout scope' concept.

I went with a Primary Arms SLX 3x Microprism. Really like it. I was a bit worried about the eye relief, but once I removed the flip-up sights, I was able to mount it about an inch forward of the back of the rail. Turned out there was plenty of eye relief for my purposes.

This little Leupold is only 8oz, so weight isn't a concern... and it has a pretty generous eye-relief as well.

3 inch eye relief is totally fine with most people, including myself.

I totally understand this, BUT if you're OK with a 3" eye relief, why not use a REAL scope with decent field of view, the option for more magnification, and better light gathering capabilities?
I 'have' a couple of prism optics. Notice I said HAVE as opposed to USE. The prism optics were mounted, tested, and relegated to gunrack placeholders and that's the end of the story.

Hmmm, the prism Sig Bravo5 I have has a huge of field of view, and other reviewers agree (https://scopesfield.com/sig-sauer-bravo5-review/). I guess the reason I use this on one of my rifles (instead of a real scope) is that it mounts easily to a Picatinny, is fairly short and compact, has plenty of light gathering (for night hunting pigs I use a thermal), gives a crystal clear view, looks great, is very rugged, and priced reasonably.
