I don't know what that means, but I got an email from Ruger today saying they are on X, and apparently it's another blog site.

I got this email also. X is the new name for the social media platform that was formerly known as Twitter. Elon Musk merged Twitter with X Corp. in 2023 if I remember right, and Twitter is now part of X. Social media people had a fit when Elon did this.

It's the center of the 10-ring on a NRA Service Rifle target...it adds no additional points, but is used to break (numerically) tied scores. In other words, if You and I had an equal target score but you had one X more than me, you'd win.

I use the forum name "Xringshooter" on several other foums I'm on. I shot competitively when I was in the USAF (USAF and non-military) and the objective is to put all your shots in the "X" ring (center of target). At one time, before I was sent to Egypt for a year (1993) I was #4 on what was then called the "Governors 20" in Delaware (so I was hitting the X ring fairly consistently).
