A family member out of state has some Ruger single actions in 32/20 caliber.
I have never been interested in this caliber but he has more than one and he would
like for someone too keep the guns in the family. Question where would I find
information on the different models of Rugers in 32/20? Thanks in advance for
your help.

The only factory single actions in 32/20 that I can remember were the blued twin cylinder convertible Blackhawks (32 H&R and 32/20) that were made for Buckeye Sports and the stainless original big frame convertible Vaqueros (same callers) with either 4 5/8 or 5 1/2 inch barrels. Any of them are fairly scarce.
Hope this helps,
Timbo

Chilcotin,

Timbo has it nailed. As he said, the only factory Rugers are these two, though several custom guns have been commissioned in 32-20.

If the revolvers still have the other cylinder for the straight-walled 32 H&R Magnum round, you have some more options. Several folks have had these cylinders recut for 327Federal, which is just a lengthened version that runs at much higher pressure. It makes the very heavy guns much more versatile. I have both of these models but I have not modified them yet as I have so many other 327s to play with.

Good luck with the 32. They are fun and addictive....

Thanks for the info. I was told that I was in charge of the care of the guns and he didn't feel secure with other family members hanging on to them. I have never seen them but they will be brought here during the holidays, Kinda anxious to really find out what they are. The only thing I have been told is they are Rugers and caliber 32/20. Will let you know how things turn out. Thanks again for info.
