I am considering a 3006 chambered Guide Gun.
I like the look and muzzle brake.
Did Ruger offer it in a composite stock? The one I saw looked like a Hogue overmold for a M77. So it might be aftermarket.

Looks like the current model only comes in "Green Mountain Laminate". I'd be for changing the stock if I had one, but I would still stick to wood. I think it would be sharp as hell in a boyd's pepper laminate stock.

They made a 375 with Hogue stock, and a
I think that was the only one. I have one in 338RCM with the laminate stock and they are very nice handling rifles. Accurate also.

I ALSO HAVE ONE IN 338 RCM I JUST DON'T LIKE THE WAY THEY FINISHED THE BUTT PAD BUT LIKE THE GREEN MOUTAIN LAMINATE.
