Hey guys I'm new here, I've had the Ruger AR556 for 2 years and have had zero problems with the gun. I'm wanting to add a free float handguard. Im curious how do I know which hand guard would fit? Right now I'm looking at the UTG Pro with Midwest industries low profile gas block.

Thoughts? Maybe cheaper options? I have been reading something about the pins being reversed or something? Any and all recommendations are appreciated thank you!

Ruger pins their gas-block/front sight on the opposite side from standard... not an issue if replacing with a set-screw or clamp-on type gas block.

So I would need something more along the lines of this? Rather than the one up top I posted?

Or even something like this?

I think all three of the ones you linked to are set-screw types, so any of them should fit with no worries about a cross pin.
