Ruger 96

I have a friend looking for a 96 in a 22 LR. What should he be willing to pay for one? Can't find any on the auction sites...

Just looked and there's one on GunBroker currently. As to what to pay...well, pay whatever he thinks it's worth to him. If it's important enough to have one, money kinda shouldn't be an issue at some point.

There is one at a local pawn shop for $300, I passed because it's pretty rough and has a bent front sight... I offered $250 and they refused. I thought that was fair considering the 60% condition.

I found one, with a chinese 6X scope, for 299. Scope is probably worth 10 bucks. The rifle is great!

I finally found one in very nice condidtion in a pawn shop for $250. I managed to get out the door with it for $225 3 years ago or so.
