Ruger 5801 Barrel dimensions

Hello, folks. Still thinking Mini 14 5801, of course I will be buying accu strut, to make it look like small M14 (MINI M14, if you will). IN any case. I know that new 5801 have "THICKER" barrel. Thicker is a relative term, unlike Kel-Tec, Ruger does NOT put the barrel diameter on their tech page. I know the barrel tapers (HK style), so if someone can give me dimensions of the barrel: under handguard, at gas block, right before the flash hider. I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum.
I'd like to help you, but you'll need to be a bit more specific as to where you need the measurements taken. Also, the 5801 does not come with a flash hider...so then there's that.

My mdl 5801 barrel measures .779 where it exits the gas block and .628 at the muzzle (my calipers are close maybe not exact).
