I have just purchased a new to me ruger 10/22. I have never seen a ruger like this one. It has an od green finish on the receiver ,trigger guard and barrel band. I am trying to figure out if this is a factory finish or maybe a distributor special. I also wonder if the barrel has been replaced. I am attaching some of my terrible cell phone pics. Thanks for any info or opinions. https://imageshack.com/i/b5klg5j https://imageshack.com/i/euaqyoj

I'm gonna say it's something someone has done. Nothing comes to mind with such a finish. Kinda hard to say about the barrel with the provided pictures.

+1

Does the finish seem very durable ? If so, it's possible someone had it cerakoted ?
Cerakoking is a oven-baked ceramic coating ... My son had his S&W M&P .45 done in Dark Earth ... cool stuff.

The finish looks to be like some thing from the factory. Its flawless I just need to do the barrel and find a top rail. I figured I couldn't go wrong for $150.

$150.00 is a sweet deal .. .. ..

When it comes to any Ruger .22 rifle or Pistol the accessories and other things one can do almost seem somewhat endless.
