I have a stainless #1 in 416 RCM, and it is about two years old. It does appear to have a tiny piece of brass bead with a dob of white paint.
A slightly used stainless 45-70 would most likely sell for $500 to $700. You can check prices at gunbroker to see how they are selling.
Due to low sales or shooter interest, Ruger has discontinued the stainless #1. :oops:
