Hi All, I am new to this forum. I have ordered a new Ruger SR40. I can't wait to get it. I've also ordered a Crossbreed Supertuck holster for it which should be in anytime now. I was digging around on the Ruger website the other day and came accross another gun that I like better. It is a P-Series model 3428 in the .40 cal. It is a "distributer exclusive" so you can only get it from one dealer.
Since I have my holster ordered for the SR40 I guess I am going to stick with that one. My question is, does anybody know if you can get rubber grips for the SR40. This P-Series gun that I saw had Hogue soft rubber grips on it and I think that if I could get the rubber grip for my SR40 it would look a lot like the P-Series gun. Any info you have would be great. I have an email sent to Hogue but I'm still waiting for the reply.

You can get a hogue sleeve type. Usually around 10 - 15 bucks. There are other sleeve type to. Check e-bay.

Bought a great rubber sleeve for my SR9 from Amazon.com for about $20. It's made by Limbsaver and fits the SR9 perfectly. Sticky, soft rubber. No finger grips though. Didn't want them actually...

Is this the one?

Yep, that's the one. I don't know if the SR40 is fatter around the grip, probably not, but the Limbsaver fits the SR9 like a glove. I slid mine all the way up under the flange under the slide. I was just looking at the invoice for mine, it was $14.71 shipped from Amazon/CheapHumidors
