I know the differences between the two, but what would be the advantage of one over the other?
I'm considering the Speed Six or Service Six...or Security Six.

round but is so much easier to conceal. i like the way a round fits my hand better. its not "telling" me where to go. this is double actions, i like plow handles on single.

True. Other than that, it's just a matter of which pleases your eye and/or your hand the most.

Personally, I like round butts on shorter barrels, square butts with longer ones, but that's only MY personal preference.

Triggernosis, Go into a gun shop with a "large" selection of handguns and ask to handle a dozen or more handguns with different grips, weights and barrel lengths. By the time you finish this "exercise" you will have a better idea of what you want to buy. Be sure and indicate to the clerk what you are trying to do before you more than likely buy a gun from "him"!.........................Dick
