Okay, reworked the poll to be more objective and specific. Maybe some distributor will pick up on it.

22/45 RP lower with stainless upper!

If they could talk Ruger into losing the mag disconnect and LCI, they couldn't build them fast enough IMO.

Post some pictures of the T514 so folks will know what they look like. "98_1LE" put that beaut of a 22/45 T514 up.

I don't know about dropping the mag disconnect and LCI.
Wouldn't that reduce all the MKIIs values?

If the MKIII doesn't have the LCI, I would not be buying MKII.
I just like the MKIII mag release better.

I like to see a T514 all SS because I have not be able to buy one at a reasonable price.

That'll never happen. No looking back on added safety devices. Lawyers would have a field day with that.

For those of us Rugerphiles who don't have every Ruger product code memorized, but rather go by model, chambering, barrel length, sights, finish, etc., what's a T514?

Wow beb! What kind of finish is that? Is that satin stainless or does it just look that way? Is that factory?
That is a great looking gun.

T514 is the simple abbreviation for
Target
5-1/4" barrel

Seeing how the pool is drifting toward an all stainless KMKIII514 model, I.M.O. the investment potential (if any on a new gun like this), would be about where the Mark II version KMK514 is today....about "zero" premium. A two tone gun not only adds aestetics to the pistol I.M.O., but it also gives it that certain "uniqueness" needed to attract the eye of the shooter/collector to possibly let it gain a little profit potential.

I have found that some of the guns I really thought that I had to have I ended up not liking as much as ones that I have had for a while. For instance, I bought a SP101 in 22lr. Built like a tank but terrible trigger and not close to my Single Six (4 5/8" barrel) in accuracy in my hands. Another is a KMK4BL, Lipsey's 4 inch barrel in stainless steel. Nice gun, but my KMK512 is a better shooter. I think that if I found and bought a KMK514, it would be nice to have just because there are not that many availlable to purchase. I'll bet that I would favor my KMK678T over it. I find myself going back to just a couple of guns to shoot even though I have acquired many over the last couple of years.

Funny, I'm dying to get a SP.22, lol. And even though I consider myself to be a "collector" of T514, my favorite of all is my little 22/45 4in stainless.
Go figure.
