Replacement grips for 22/45

Where can I get replacement grips for my 22/45?

As I understand it, the newer 22/45 pistols will take any 1911 grip panels. If you have one of the old ones, I think you're out of luck.

just like wwb said, 1911 grips should work, but do your homework before buying. i have a set on my 22/45. also, the Ruger store has some i believe.

Assuming it's an -RP, then any 1911 grips will fit with minor modification, should be easy to see what they need with gun and grips in hand.
If not an -RP, it will take an angle grinder and mods to the gripframe....

Hi,

Most of the newer 22/45s have removable grips. They will take any full sized 1911 grips with a minor modification.

Ruger does sell 1911 grips, look under SR1911. I used a pair on my 22/45 LITE.

The 22/45s without removable grips can be altered to take 1911 grips. There is a guy on the rimfire central forum that does it.
