Replacement grip Mini 14 folding stock

With no replacement grip handles available from ruger to replace the original broken plastic one, I decided to build a new one from scratch out of aluminum to use any 1911 Colt grips. Having no machining equipment I had to whittle it out using a drill press, band saw, Dremel tool, and disk sander. It holds two emergency rounds of .223. Here is whit I come up with. It is one of my favorite Ruger firearms.

Regardless of equipment that you had available, that is a good idea, well executed. It looks alright.

That work is especially impressive considering what you had to work with. Nicely done.
