I have the new Redhawks in .45 Colt from Davidson's for sale. They don't have the warning placard on the side of the barrel anymore and the .45 Colt stamp has been moved from the middle of the barrel down onto the side of the underlug. These also have the same new ejector shape as the Supers which are a much better tighter design than the older ones. As you can see in the pics, these new 4" models have the same DX interchangeable front sight base as the 5.5" and 7.5" models now instead of the pin in front sight the 4" has always had. If you've got other Redhawks in 5.5" or 7.5" the front sights will interchange with these new 4" models as well now. $775 shipped to forum members and or friends and family. These are Davidson's guns, and carry the Davidson's lifetime replacement warranty.

As stated, I took the pics of the one I'm keeping. The top 4 pics are of the revolver as they come from Ruger which is what's for sale. In the last pic, I'm simply showing what I've done with mine so folks can see there are other options besides Ruger factory sights and rubber grips. These wood grips are long discontuinued, but can be had if you look. The Bowen rear sight is $100 from BCA or from Brownells, and the extra height front sight blank I speak of can be had from BCA for $40, or for $45 you can get a finished, serrated target black front sight ready to go for big bullets. Either just snap in like the others, but the blank is just that, and for a gunsmith to finish. These revolvers are great just like they are, but I like Bowen sights and the old style wood grips. I also like to shoot 355 Keiths in mine, and the front sights on these are just not designed for quite that big a bullet. With the rear bottomed out it's close, but I like making my own white line front sights out of the blanks BCA supplies.
