Reeder Custom Redhawk .45 Colt

I picked up a Reeder Custom Redhawk in 45 Colt from an estate sale. The seller didn't know much about it, and neither do I.

What I do know is the fit and finish is superb, action buttery smooth, and the trigger just amazing. The muzzle has very deep crown.

I would love to learn more from the forum experts.

Good question. I don't know and I don't have any Ruger rings to try.

My guess is that this gun started life as longer barrel gun, and was cut down to 5" as part of the work done by Reeder.

Looks like a Freedom Arms type F sight, with an Allen in the front? Interchangeable blades.
Reeders does beautiful deep crowns, and nice triggers

Great platform. Looks like it was a 7.5 inch barrel in its previous life.

I would bet as it’s not a “standard package” gun, more of someone’s vision, they don’t keep records on it, and probably wouldn’t remember what was done on this particular build.
