I know condition is relative in some cases. With that being said, I'm thinking of buying a redhawk in 41 mag. It is in 98%+ condition, with original box, 5.5" bbl, stainless, original grips, barely visible turn lines, model krh-41.What would ya'll consider this gun to be worth? Thanks.

I was lucky enough to find the gun I wanted just an hour's drive away. 5.5" ss redhawk in .41 mag in the box. This gun is an '84 model per the SN, and it's in dang good shape. very light cylinder turn lines are the only marks on the gun. I'm happy. 8)

I paid a premium for a nib stainless 5 1/2 for 600. But then I like 41 mags. :) greg

It would be hard to draw the line on a Redhawk in 41. About 1 1/2 ago I picked up a used 41 Redhawk about 90% and paid the price they had on her $590. They are just so hard to find and this one has a 7 1/2" barrel. If you could get it for under $600 in a 41....I know I would have a hard time passing.

Hey Dale, Pauls Mart in Cleveland had a new one a while back. Haven't been in there in a while so I don't know if it is still there. Heck if it isn't there, I'd bet it is the one you are looking at :)

Becky has been pulling out some revolvers from decades back here lately. A loooong barreled Model 14, Model 18, adjustable sighted Chiefs Special, and a Trooper MK III just off the top of my head.

3 or 4 years back I bought one NIB for (I think) $625.00 shipped.

Could likely still get my money back or ..... close to it.

Joe, no, I just sold a bunch of factory ammo I had. I still have dies and tons of bullets and brass and my NM Blackhawk.

Tom, thanks for the info. I might could get a nib redhawk from pauls, but it would not be worth dealing with those unpleasant, paranoid folks. I've seen some NIB stuff in there that they let get rusty as heck also.

I'm going to buy one from a guy this week. It's a 1984 model with box, and no scratches. Pics to come later.

Nice! A twin to the one in my safe.

I tried a lot of different grip options because I found the factory wood to be a little slick using hot loads. Finally settled on Uncle Mikes / Butler Creek.

Wish Ruger would have checkered those grips like they did on the prototype and the Security/Service/Speed Six models.

Tis a shame how the old lady runs that place. But, Becky knows more than most anyone you will ever meet about firearms and reloading, and what is back in that store. You walk in and say, 429421, 4831, 110, 4756, 550, ect and she knows exactly what you are asking for. I was really impressed when I asked for a Redfield base for my Pre-64 300H&H, and without even thinking she quoted the 2 different rear hole spacings that Winchester used on the magnum receivers and wanted to know which mine had. You wouldn't believe what they have hiding back in there! I've bought RCBS molds for $15 or so, which is the price that was on them!

No doubt Tom. She ain't the one I have problems with. They definitely have some of everything in there. I saw some brand new Colt woodsmans in there one time.

I'm sorry you posted a picture, now I've got to start looking for another one! Great looking firearm if you ever need any quick cash I'll be glad to take it off your hands! Shoot and enjoy it.

I picked up a pristine circa 1988 7.5" stainless Redhawk in Springdale this past weekend. It did not have the box or papers, but it does not appear to have been shot much as there is little or no line on the cylinder. I paid $519.95 for it and according to my book $500 would be the correct price, but add 50% for being a .41 magnum. For a 357 Redhawk add 100%.

I would still love to get a 5.5" version, too.

I am a big fan of the .41 and will eventually get the Hunter to round out my accumulation of .41s.
