Got a chance to fire the first rounds through the Redhawk this morning, both Specials and Mags. It is a sweet shooting gun.

Looking my Saturday morning best...

Started with .44 Specials. With them it kicks noticeably less than my .45 ACP.

Me, shooting Mags. It was eminently controllable. Spent time bouncing a juice bottle up the hill, then shooting it again as it rolled back down the hill.

Daughter firing mags. Handled it well, but said she could definitely feel it in her shoulders afterward...

Looks like everyone was having a good time and the Redhawk did itself proud.

Now, I will not comment on the first picture.

Everybody needs at least one "crazy shootin' buddy". Of course that's what they consider us. stevemb

I was having a problem operating a double-action revolver. I'm normally a single-action guy (Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk, Vaquero, etc.) So, instead of just pulling the trigger, I kept yarding back on the hammer before each shot.

Yep, same here. My smoothest single action trigger is on my SP101.
