I'm needing a hard case for my Super Redhawk .44.

Thre's a dizzying array of cases available, I'm getting a headache looking at all them.
I'm looking for a hard plastic case. I'm trying to spend less than what a Pelican would cost, but something better than a $10 generic unit.
Something in the $30-$50 range maybe?

Suggestions appreciated!

A strong, well made product, and it locks:

There are two others in the line with locks, but larger:

No special purpose per se but water-proof would be nice......I have a few Pelican cases and they are the nuts, but a tad spendy. I got a "robbery" price on the SRH and don't want to "dilute" the sweet deal with a $100 case....

before I read the water proof part I was thinking factory case but they are not water proof at all.

Factory cases are around 40 bucks new. Ebay would be cheaper and maybe even someone here would have extra?

Good luck,

SKB makes nice cases. Ive got a couple of them. Use them for optics on the boat or to and from the range.

To me, the Pelicans are worth the money. I have a few "cheaper" ones and use them when I need to transport firearms. Yesterday, we did another WOT clinic. I noticed my rifle case, (hard plastic, cheaper brand,) has a broken piece of plastic at one of the hinges.
Quality isn't cheap, and in the long run costs less, as you only buy it once,,,!
