Rear sight removal 22/45 mark III

If i put an electronic sight on my 22/45 and take the front and rear sight off is there something made to fill in the dovetail mount on the back of the pistol. Any help appreciated.

Actually yes there are plain dovetail pieces sold by Midway, Brownells that could be added. However, I'm not sure of the sizes they offer. Search their websights, and if all else fails, you can call Brownells & ask their techies about it.

we tell folks to try and leave the sights on the gun, never know when ANY of these electronic devices "fail" ( battery, dot, adjustment screws, etc.....) then you have the iron sights in place.....still......seen it MANY times over the past years, when running the range.........
