"One Ranger Returns" by James L. Haley: Texas Ranger Jackson was stationed out of Uvalde,Texas between San Antonio and the border town of Del Rio. Book has some input from his wife and two sons. I enjoyed it and so will a lot of you folks.

I'm ashamed to say I've had this here for over four years. I misplaced it.

I'll leave it open until 5-10-19.

He was quite a character. I went with him to Ojinaga Mexico to try and return 2 escapees, to no avail... We rode in the front seat of a pick up truck driven by a federal agent. You can imagine Joaquin almost doubled up just to sit on the bench seat!! All around good guy!

It is a good read and I am glad it has resurfaced after being lost. His first book, One Ranger, A Memoir, should be out there as well.
Joaquin Jackson was once a Texas Ranger and wrote about many of his experiences.
