A photo of RCA-00025 that I picked up at my dealer's today. It was shipped on 9-15. The .357 has a high polish that is like that on the 50th anniversary Super Blackhawk. A very neat revolver. :)

The second photo (taken 9/19) shows the left side of RCA-00025 and with Ruger imitation ivory grips.

Nice! My RCA .357 sat in the Post Office for several days....... :(
My Dealer finally picked it up and took it to his shop.

Me and another ol' .357 were waiting......

I dug around in the Dungeon and found some faux ivory grips for the new addition.

Thanks so much to the RCA!

That photo is fantastic! Perhaps some pointers for us photo-challenged folk?
Received mine here in OR yesterday, and feel lucky that I was able to match the serial number to my Shootist's #26.

The serial number pairing is cool.

Do "High Polished" and "High Color Blue" mean the same thing?" Just wondering, since one could refer to surface prep and the other to the bluing solution.

It's interesting, if coincidental, that these two "specials" have consecutive Model Numbers.

:)

I would suppose you are correct, Mr. Ale-8(1) !

Note that the bar code numbers are sequential.....as are the actual model numbers.

I think the finishes are quite similar. The pics I took of Murbach's Shootist Bisley just did NOT do the gun proper justice.

Bill's typically awesome photography, as posted at the head of this thread, definitely shows the nice finish work on the RCA guns!

:D
