Range report on my "first online gun purchase"

Was not a Ruger sorry. Found a Taurus PT111 gen 2 for $200. Trigger sucks but this is a real shooter. Digested 400 rounds of reloads and factory with only one hic-up. Failure was with one frangible reload, slap on the rear fixed it, suspect OAL as it was near max.
Accuracy was outstanding at 25 feet. Honestly expected much less but was surprised just how well this cheap pistol shot. Adjustable sights but pine cones were easy out of the box.
When buying a "good" pistol, I would have gone to a dealer.

I bought that same model pistol last summer. It is a lot better than a $200 dollar gun has any business being. No failures to date. It has eaten inexpensive brass, aluminum & steel cased fmj ammo & hollowpoints without complaint. I'm not in love with the trigger either but it is a good little gun & easy to shoot well.
