I finally had a time to go to the range with my new Blackhawk 45 Colt/45 ACP combo I purchased a while back.
I had a great time, its been a while since I shot any single action and a couple of guys asking questions about it.
I first shot the 45 Colt with Fiocchi 255 grain FMJ and I noted that it seemed to shoot a little high at 15 yards.
I then shot the 45 ACP with Remington 230 grain FMJ, and it shot to point of aim also at 15 yards.
It wasn’t a true workout at different distances, but more for function.
I also sighted in a little Winchester model 69 that I had some issues with earlier. My gun guy, who is really good, changed out the rings on the scope and fixed me up just fine.
Good to have the break in heat here and get out to shoot.
