Rain today

It has been over a month since we had rainfall on the place to account for anything. It happened today. As i was walking to my hunting tree, i got a couple drops. 30 minutes after sitting down, it started a light drizzle. I called it an hour later when the loght drizzle became a light sprinkle. Notmally i am sad at a rain out but not today. Man we need it, and I am thankful for it.

We haven't seen rain in several months. The whole state is on a burn ban, and a lot of private ponds are drying up.

We have had intermittent rain since last week, it is welcome and the cooling up is delightful and feels more like fall here!

We too are suffering the lack of rain here. My area is down by more than 10" for the year.

Just not fair---the Portland area just had a record setting month of October with 8.75 inches.

Yes is is very GREEN here.

Makes it really tough to get all the leaves cleaned up.
