Did the Buckeye S32X and S3840 convertibles have a "special" owner's manual, or were they covered by the normal Blackhawk manual of the time period?

The date stamp on the 3840 manual reads: MRN & KMRN/11-89 R5

The S3840 is described as a Blackhawk, and the site gives you the Blackhawk manual, but the cover of the manual does not mention the .38-40/10mm chambering. Within the manual, however, it mentions the S32X as well as the S3840 when discussing the proper ammo to be used in each gun. These model numbers, however, are not specifically referred to.
Does the Blackhawk manual of the date you mention refer to the proper ammo for both of these specials?
