Just got out of the hospital last Friday morning and haven't been feeling all that great this week.
My Son Patrick called this morning and said he had a little something to cheer me up.. I told him I would put on a pot of coffee and to come on over..
When he got here, he handed me a package wrapped in weird paper..
this is what he gave me...

I told him.. Good, I'll be able to go quail hunting now!

I had told him during gun talk several weeks ago, that I would like to have one to carry prospecting, ginseng hunting, or just to have around camp.
I was very impressed with the fit and finish of this little gun!

And having used a Ruger #1 deer hunting over the years.. I wouldn't hesitate to use it as a defense gun.. hell, it's got two shots!!

Go out to the range, shoot two boxes of factory ammo, then tell us about it.

NICE little gun, but those tend to not be easy to shoot more than a few with.

What!? I thought anything smaller than a .44 magnum was a "plinking gun"!?

I love my Bond Century 2000. Shooting 2 1/2 inch .410 though is quite a thump on my arthritic hands! Fun and made very heavy and solid. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine! Don.
