Answer:

She was hoping the guy would appear at the funeral again. If you

answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test

by a famous American psychologist used to determine if one has the

same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in

the test and answered the question correctly. If you didn't answer the



question correctly, good for you....

That's a little creepy. I thought I had a good answer. I thought she found out that the guy was her distant and estranged sister's husband and she became violently jealous. That is horrible enough, but your "correct response" was definitely worse. Glad I got it wrong.

I admit that I cheated because I couldn't figure out why she'd kill her sister. So I cheated & looked at the answer. I guess that means I'm safe to stay on your list of friends.

I figured she wanted to meet the guy again. But then who is the real psychopath? After all she falls in love at her own mother's funeral? Then kills her sister? That guy better watch his back. No wonder she didn't get his name or number. He could probably tell she was crazy to start with.

While I know this is meant to be taken for entertainment, due to the stated suggested implication(s) of getting it right, let's consider some reasons why an individual may do so.

For instance; some may be trained to consider what is not apparent to others, such as LEOs, or, social, political or industrial analysts, scientists etc.. Then too, some people are naturally analytic, logical, rational and observant.

A diagnosis based on the answer(s) to one question, of one specific group of criminal offenders is not scientifically, medically and intellectually sound.

When I was a kid in 1952 my mother ran a fruit and vegetable stand in front of our house in central Wisconsin. One day she said there was a strange foolish acting man that hung around it that day. My dad worked swing shift and mom was making her bed late at night, looked up to see the same man with his face pressed to the window watching her. I heard her screech, "Why you no good devil", and ran out to pursue him or run him off. Not long after dad got home. He recalled seeing a man running towards a truck parked down the road on his way home. He went looking for the guy but he and the truck was gone.
Fast forward to 1957. Mom looked in the newspaper at a picture of Ed Gein! She screeched "That`s the man I ran off! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_Gein My mothers cousin that she was raised with was married to Leon "Specks" Murty who was our county sheriff right up to the time time frame. Once Specks had got dad to help him track some missing deer hunters that NEVER was found, and they had tracked them right up to near Geins farm. Ed Gein was the killer cannibal that inspired Alfred Hitchcock`s movie, "Physio."
In 1978 I went home and visited Specks and wife Helen. I wish I had taken a tape recorder but my folks and I just made a impromptu visit with family. Mom and Helen stayed outside, dad I and Specks got talking about the Gein case for a hour or so. Gein only was charged with the two murders but Specks was pretty sure of another four to six above that. Specks said Gein gave him a list of about 40+ graves he could recall robbing over the years. They opened one or two at random and they were empty! I recall seeing that. We drove by when they had a big tent around the grave while they dug it up to check. The case broke just after Specks had gave up the office and the new sheriff, Art Shly called Specks as Art was new and inexperienced.
Specks was miffed with Shly. It would take a small book to explain all Specks told us but basically Specks solved the case and got no credit. Specks and a deputy went to Geins farmhouse, Gein wasnt home, but they got in and found the headless body hanging on the back porch field dressed. They found body parts, death masks etc all through the house. At one point Shly had Specks take Gein to Madison for a lie detector test. The technician wanted Specks to bring Gein back the next day. Rather than do a turn around drive Specks elected to share a cell for the night with Gein.
They got talking and Gein told Specks that he couldn't control himself in a full moon. Much more, but that's enough for now.

The shrink thought the teacher was way out of line and over reacting. all the other students wrote about trees and puppies and baseball, while mine was more on the line of Stephen King. I should have taken writing as a career.

About ten years ago a similar thing happened with my son. He also was in seventh grade and his creative writing assignment was actually to write a scary story for Halloween. He was and still is a gifted writer. His brother suggested to us to read the story before he turned it in, as he thought it too frightening. Holy cow. It was brilliant. It did not sound like a seventh grader. BUT, there was no way we were going to let him turn it in. (Too many gruesomely dead classmates and teachers) Ten years later, he still writes creatively, but it won't freak anyone out.
