brand NEW, unfired, and boxed , matched pair of nickel 6& 8-inch Colts, father Python 357 mag, and 'son' Diamondback .22, picked them up yesterday morning.........................yes there are other 'things' out there :wink:

I hope you don't mind, but I could not resist posting my Ruger father son set. They are not in the same league as yours, but I enjoy them. GP 100 .357 mag, and SP101 full lug .22

Any other Father & Son sets out there? Something about having two guns, almost identical one in .22 and one bigger that has always appealed to me. My only other set is my Marlin .22 and 30/30 lever guns.

Here is a similar set I just put together. An 8 shot .357 mag. S&W model 627 (I got tired of waiting for an 8 shot .357 Redhawk) and a 10 shot .22 model 617. Both with 4 inch barrels.

Thanks for the kind words rugerguy. The Smith's do shoot nice, but they are not in the same class as those Colts. They are beautiful. Ed
