Folks, I’m asking for prayers for a family I know. The father, a retired LEO. His son, an Eagle Scout with whom I had the privilege of watching grow up. Sadly, on Christmas Day, the 3 year old daughter and sister, was critically injured in an accidental shooting. I don’t know the details, but I do know the family. Please send prayers for this little girl and her family.

Well, we got a few more details tonight.
Apparently,, it happened away from home,, and the firearm used did not belong to any family member. The SBI is investigating.

The little girl, Head injury,, swelling of the brain,, and very critical. (Bob,, thanks for the Prayer,, but it's just one little girl,, and of course,, her family.) The hospital says the next 48 hours are very critical.

This one is really hitting me close to home. The retired LEO is a very good solid safe firearm handler. He has a long list of good credentials. He helped out with our Scouts a lot,, and is extremely well liked around here. A lot of us in the local community are praying HARD.

As I sit here,, early in the morning,, awakened by dreams,, that were troubled,, I started my day with a prayer for Aylee, and her family.
