All the Glory to God.
Contender please don't stop the updates.Folks,, I'm truly humbled by the outpouring of prayer support.
And I'm so VERY, VERY grateful for all of it.
We truly thought we were about to lose her when the Doc told us to call in the family about 4 am or so. I could share a lot of details as to why they thought that,,, but things changed. By around 6:00-6:30 am,, she was responding to the EXCELLENT care & treatment the whole staff was giving her.
And I truly know,, in my heart,, the power of prayers has been a huge help as well. Barbie is a God loving lady. She's also a strong spirited and willful person. A fighter.
While she is NOT out of danger yet,, she has responded enough to where Penny & I were able to leave to come home to take care of our cats, get a good meal, shower & rest some. It's been a long time since I was up for over 38 hours without any sleep.
Our son has his brother & his wife, as well as (2) of Barbie's long time friends there for tonight. Barbie's parents left a little before we did,, but we are all going back of course.
I won't bore y'all with all the details of her issues,, but they are several. Yet,, she's fighting,, and on the upswing. And we pray it continues.
So the power of prayer has proven itself once again. I want to humbly thank my wonderful Ruger Forum family for the prayers.
God Bless you all!Well, another update;
Her Kidney's aren't functioning, and today they are starting her on Dialysis. They feel it will be a temporary thing currently.
One more thing to worry about.
But my whole family truly appreciates ALL the support you have shown us.
God Bless you all!
