Post merged into other posts

I had posted a question on the Lounge and went to look for the responses. I was able to see that it had been merged into another post which really didn't give my post much time to be answered. I've never had this happen to my posts before.
Wondering why?

And when I look at the new post, in which I saw my original question, my post, and the few responses, are now completely gone. So my post has been deleted. It wasn't offensive or in the wrong category as far as I know. Any idea's?

I think your best bet would be in the "Office" and ask one of the moderators. :wink:

I looked at this as I lost a thread I was replying to. Thinking it was this??

As if Wolfsongs thread didn't get derailed enough, yours got added? No wonder he threw up his hands & said have fun.

My reply was to mineral oil which had little relevance to Wolfsongs reference to Shooters Lube.

Merging might help the sick server, but when does relevance start to count. I've seen this & been confused before, maybe this time as well. Maybe just me?

I was advised it was the same subject so it was merged. Not the same at all. Completely different.

The "Shooter Lube" thread is still up, including everybody's comments on the various lubes mentioned.
