Well the predictions didn't come true. Doubling velocities in 10 years. Animals dying by having a bullet whiz by them. Thanks for posting the article. I enjoyed it as well as the rest of the magazine

I like reading things that I can compare today with,to things people speculated what the future would bring.
Do you think people will be reading archives of this forum 50 years from now?

Interesting article. When I was a kid in the '70's my Dad had boxes of Popular Mechanics magazine. He had taken it for years. Our pipes froze & busted. After my Father soldered them back we wrapped the magazines around the pipes & secured them with tie wire. My family lived in that house another 20 years & the pipes never busted again.
