Polygonal rifling

I stumbled upon an old thread that briefly mentioned that a KMK678
exists with polygonal rifling...
Has anyone ever heard of this?

I've never heard of that one or any other Ruger having polygonal rifling - and I've got some old Ruger catalogs.

If it does have polygonal rifling, it's a Unicorn Ruger.
