Pocket knife help please

I am not sure where this would go, so if it is in the wrong place feel free to move as needed. I have some pocket knives I need re-handled I am not sure if anyone does this and I am not doing it to try to fool someone into a sale. I am a Bulldog brand knife collector and they have a natorious problem with plastic handled knives going bad. I have 2 canoe pattern knives that have started and if possible I would like someone to clean polish and handle the knives for me so I can put them back in my collection. If anyone dose this please send me a pm or respond. Thank you.

Well here is my 2 cents. I have a few Bulldogs too. No issues with those yet...
But over the many years I have collected. I've lost many fine knives to what we called celluloid poisoning. Fighting Roosters are quite vunerable to it and many other early plastic/celluloid scales. Once it starts there is not a lot you can do to reverse it. The newer stuff maybe a different story? It can be caused by sunlight, some oils, storage pouches and most anything. I do not store plastics/celluloids close to anything else. Once the process gets real bad it will even pit the blades, springs and bolsters. Good luck and I hope this is not the case with yours.

Sad to say but that is the case I have two red sparkle handled canoes that have started rusting the blade and one has gotten to the back spring. I have all of my "plastic" handled knives togeather as I was aware of the issue. I have never had a problem with them before until this year I think it is more temperature than anything as they got moved to a part of the house that was not heated as well as the rest. I have since checked my others and no issues with them so they are all getting mooved closer for better observation from now on. Thnaks for the reply.

I can do it. I rebuild custom Buck 110's all the time. Re scale them and turn them into autos. What kind of scales are you looking for?
