Let's say you have a LCR 38 & LCR 327
You can only keep one.
Which would u keep

You currently reload for both

That's a really tough call. Even though I reload i like the fact 38 ammo is easy to find. I dont reload my carry ammo.

327 is a sweetheart tho.

My 38 LCR has been thru a lot with me, from being sweated on profusely to taking a dunk in a river to miles and miles of walking and biking. It has been across the country. It is kinda part of the family. And it has never failed to go bang when i ask it to run some rounds at the range. I would be sad to have to give it up.

38 all day every day

I do reload 38 and don't even want to step down to a smaller caliber that requires even more dexterity to reload. Plus 38 bullets are cheaper.

It depends on the circumstances.

As handloader, I would keep the .38 Sp. because a handloader can get a lot more out of it. On the other hand if I were someone who was carrying it as a defense weapon, and if I was not a handloader, I might decide in favor of the 327.

On the third hand, if I kept the 327, I could still shoot .32 Mg.s in it as well as the .32 S&W and the .32 S&W Long.

Of course my opinion is somewhat biased since I don't consider the 327 to be all that great in the first place, especially in a revolver with a short barrel.

Oh well, just put me in the .38 Sp. column and forget the rest of it.8)

Well, I have LCR 22 & 38. Soon will have a 327
Could not handle the 38 recoil though it's a lot better than Smith 642

I reload some light rounds so that I can tolerate recoil
Then, I kept reading about the 327 and was interested in trying it out
Already bought some 32 long & 32 H&R to try out
Also ordered the essentials for reloading that round

Now just need to wait for pickup day

It would depend on it's intended use. If I were to use it for everyday carry I would keep the 327. If I were going to use it as a plinker I would keep the 327. If I were to use it for a truck gun I would keep the 327. If I were to use it for a tackle box gun I would keep the 327. If it was to be strictly a safe queen I guess it would not really matter.

Picked up the 327 & I'll have to make this decision after trying it out

Update 11/5
Took a test drive with factory 32 long, h&r mag & my reload using h&r case, 2.9 gr w231 & acme 110 coated bullet

My load is hotter than 32 long but lighter than h&r mag. Shooting the reloads was easy.
Was able to shoot out a 3 inch sticky 7 yd away
