Photobucket problems

Anyone else having trouble with Photobucket? Lately it takes forever to load (on my iPad). Doesn't seem to matter whether it's me going to Photobucket to look at my library on there or clicking on a link to a pic someone has posted. SO SLOW. Don't have a problem with any other website. I've used Photbucket for years but thinking about a change since this problem is very persistent.

Anyone have a good recommendation about another hosting site? Like I said, I've used Photobucket for years but don't have any particular loyalty to them if there's a better option.

I used them for several years, then became increasingly plagued with glitches and oddball issues never of my own making.

I grew weary & finally fed up. I fired them.

After a year or so of other site trials & tribulations, I fired them too.

I haven't had any photo host for about 3-4 years now. Life goes on & seems much sweeter without the hassle.

I use TinyPic.com for Tack Drivers. Its quick and simple but it does not keep your stuff in memory.

Have used photobucket for years and have had some times where it was incredibly slow. I have used it several times in the last week to post pics. here without problems.

Used to use them BUT lately it has been very slow AND more & more loaded down with ads, pop ups, graffics etc that slow it down even more

I am now switching to www.PostIMG.org

Way easier to use, more desired options, easier to load and get 1 or more link codes at 1 time

I would love to change,but creature of habit, photobucket has NOT been user friendly at all, for me, puts the pictures where I cannot get them back in the 'library' they only come up under "recent up loads" so I can at least go there and CONSTANT ads and pop ups.....hhhmmmm'maybe get my 4 year old grandson to switch it over for me, I'd ask Colin , the 8 year old "L'L Rugerdude" but he's too busy doing college level smartphone crap, hell we still don't have one of them...great tools, keeps the boys BUSY and I have to do little or no "entertaining" to baby sit them any more.........................let 'em learn, me ,I am relaxing in our old age and watching the grass grow and the soon to be ,snow to fall,,,,,,,,,,,,,,wait all your life to "retire" and dammit, I AM RETIRED !!!!!
(still hate photobucket........they say they improved it for all the "smarties" and left us in the dark)

I haven't had any problems so far with it. I was JUST there (0730) to look for a specific photo and it loaded and went where I pointed to.

I have a lot of photos on PhotoBucket and I have seen times when they have changed things, had glitches, and all sorts of problems but all and all it works for posting pics on this forum which is what I use it for mostly. If you don't mind the problems this forum has you probably won't mind PhotoBucket.

My two biggest complaints now are that you can't preview but about 20 pics at a time and the previews are chopped down and don't show the complete pic in the thumbnails.

I just uploaded almost 500 pics from my Alaska vacation, taken with my blackberry, and was surprised with the speed that it happened, est 1/2 hour, especially with a phone line connection.
I find it easy to use.

It`s the only thing I use or half way know. I never have paid for the add on they try to sell for more storage and thats when the problem for me started. I keep all my gun pictures on it but have to delete other pictures to make room for new. Besides being slow it seems some pictures on each page don't load at all. Maybe I ought to pay.

Just looked at Racer's thumbnails, the pages loaded fast enough. Using Pale Moon on MS Vista with the uBlock Origin extension which blocked a bunch of requests from the Photobucket page from loading.

Well I have a free PB account with over 1500 pictures and it says I have used just 7% of capacity.....

Sometimes it is frustrating but hey it is FREE.....RR
