Have any of y'all patterned and checked your POI with your shotguns ?

How much does your POI change with what seems to be minor changes in position of your head on the stock and view down the barrel ?

Have you noticed that two shotguns -- by casual obeservation very much alike -- can have radically different POI ?

Yup!

That's why "fit" is so important on a shotgun.... you have to mount it EXACTLY the same every time - if you don't, it ain't shootin' where you're lookin'

Generally a problem with cheap shotguns....two pipers are also supposed to shoot to the same POI with both barrels. It's called "regulation". Turkish and Russian SxS and O/U budget guns come to mind. Quality target guns in the $2,000 and up range seldom have any issues.
