Did Pachmayr make the Gripper Professional/Gripper Pro with the open back strap for the Security Six? If so, what is the item/SKU number for these grips? Thanks in advance!

The only grips that I remember Pachmayr making (back in the day) for the Six series DA revolvers when those revolvers were introduced were the Presentation, Gripper and a compact grip (no finger grooves) for the Speed Sixes. None of those had an open back. Later on, they did make Grippers with an open back marked RS6-GP and for the Speed Six an open back compact grip (again no finger grooves) marked RSS-GP The "GP" was for "Gripper" not GP100.

I don't think this is what you're after but it's yours if you want it

Thanks, Captain America! Very generous of you. I have a set of Grippers with the closed back. If those are open, I will take them.
I bought a Pachmayr"Gripper" with the open back on eBay and saw a couple others. I really like them on my 4" Service Six.

I've been lucky enough to find a square-butt set of rubber grips with factory Ruger emblems and these fit my large hands just fine...

Hogue has an open back rubber finger grove grip for the SS.

The ones I have for my Speed Six won't work for the Security Six, but I love them. They were made by Trausch (out of France) they are no longer made but are still occasionally available on eBay. They aren't inexpensive, but worth every dollar. Just something to think about.
Someone on the forum may have some so it's worth putting up a WTB in the classifieds.

Jacque was a nice guy! He sent me about 30 pairs of grips for Ruger and S&W revolvers that I gave away on their respective forums. One of the greatest concealed carry combinations is a 3inch SP101 with Trauch grips (IMHO)!
