P944 mags

www.cdnninvestments.com has 10 round factory P91/94 .40 magazines for $29.99. S&H may be high if you are buying only 1 mag.

I watch gunbroker.com. Got a set of used ones the other day for less than 30 bucks.

There is a guy selling a bunch of used ones right now but they have orange foot plates. If that doesn't bother you, his are cheap and he has them listed in groups from 1 to 5 I think.

Watching gunbroker sounds like a good idea. I managed to pick up an 11 round P91 magazine off a local forum for $15. Later on a local shop had a lot of the Ruger .40 caliber carbines they were selling off. I got a second P91 11 round magazine for $10.00. I try to keep an eye out for this kind of stuff if I luck up on it.

Howdy SteveSatch,

If you are going to be scouring Gunbroker or Auction Arms, you will invariably run into Joe's Pawn Shop. I have had some good experiences with them and have had some bad ones. The last experience was the worst. My first bad experience was buying (3) Sig 229 mags, they looked good in the picture, nearly new and shiny black, came to me in prime black, recoated. The prime black grew on me after a few days so I kept them. The last time I purchased from them it was P94 mags, again all nice and shiny in the pictures on the auction. The mags showed up and had initials ground fairly deep into the sides of the mags, large letters and all the mags had the initials. I emailed Joe's and they said they didn't have any more and never answered why they sent mags with ground-in initials. My guess is that thy would hope that a buyer wouldn't take the time to send them back. I can pretty much attest that Joe's uses a standard picture over and over again for their mags and what you get may not match that picture at all. Buyer beware. Check out their feedback they give when people aren't happy. Pretty nasty stuff.

Just hoping to save you all a little time and pain.

EDIT: To be fair, I did have what appears to be 2 other good transactions with Joe's.
