p94 vs sr40 trigger pull

what's with the sr40 trigger pull? You can feel the sear grind for an inch before it breaks. Is that normal? Same as other hammerless semiautos? I thought about upgrading my p944, but it was just so different.

That is not normal, my SR9, SR40 and SR40c break at 1/4 inch and are smooth and crisp. They have had the MDS removed, but i don't think that has any effect on trigger pull. My P944 breaks at 1/2 inch after first shot, it is about as smooth as the SR pistols.

Some of the SR guns need to completely cleaned and lubed before use. This seems to get rid of most of this grit. This comes up a lot. I just looked at a Sr40c and trigger was pretty smooth.
